Save Our Seine River Environment Inc. is a local environmental organization seeking individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors in 2025. This is an incredible volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in enhancing their leadership, environmental, and non-profit governance experience while making an impactful difference in Winnipeg.
This is an exciting opportunity to volunteer with our dynamic organization, focusing on the environment through urban restoration and enhancement projects, education, public awareness, and working with partners on policy development.
We are particularly seeking individuals who have the following experience:
Serving on Boards
Fundraising and grant-writing
Organizational governance
We encourage applications from passionate individuals who are willing to work hard and learn, even if you don't have experience serving on a board.
This is a very active Board and organization. Each Board Director is required to attend 2-hour monthly Board meetings (preferably in-person near St Anne’s Rd & Fermor Ave), prepare for Board meetings and serve on at least one SOS committee.
